Dr. Jim "Doc" Stalker passed away in 2008. Doc helped start the Ozark Hawg BBQ with the Batesville Kiwanis, and was chairman of that event for many years. Doc was well known in the BBQ contest circuit for years.

Doc traveled with Party-Q to contests for the last couple of years in a mentor capacity. Doc also cooked with Happy Hog Still & Co. team. Doc's best finish at Memphis was in 2001 when the team placed 11th in the rib division.
